Cosmic : research training in co-ordination, supramolecular and biological inorganic chemistry

Objective

Application are invited from European Ph.D. students (non-UK) to undertake training in co-ordination chemistry, both synthesis and characterization, and its application in supramolecular, biological and materials chemistry. The research groups which from the COSMIC training site have expertise in a wide range of both synthetic coordination chemistry, ligand design and metal complex preparation, and in application of a range of characterization techniques to co-ordination chemistry problems. Applicants will normally be students currently in the second or third year of a Ph.D. programme in some aspect of co-ordination chemistry. Informal enquiries can be made to the co-ordinator Professor Martin Schröder. The COSMIC training site is part of the University of Nottingham that is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, and political or religious belief.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
