Literary criticism and the conveying of literature in a multimedia world. doctoral training programme for the so-called everyday reception of literature.

Objective

The doctoral training programme by the Department of German Language, Literature and Literary Criticism-Innsbruck Newspaper Clipping Archive for German and Foreign-Language Literature / IZA offers additional qualifications for postgraduates. The facility forms a part of the University of Innsbruck, and is the only one of its kind in the German-speaking countries. It monitors, collects and catalogues literary criticism and the conveying of literature in the area of audiovisual and print media. It is renowned for its competent and capable team of researchers. Their work deals with a large variety of questions related to the everyday reception of literature in multimedia world. We also offer the optional field of study of "Literary Criticism, the Conveying of Literature, and the Media " in our programme. Utilization of all facilities is free of charge and includes an intra- and internet workstation. Duration of the programme: one year.
