Integration of advanced mass spectrometry tools in life- and environmental sciences

Objective

Immediate opening for a research position (6-12 months) at the postgraduate level. The position is found at the Marie Curie Training Site at the OPEN MASS SPECTROMETRY LABORATORY of Uppsala University, Sweden The "Open MS-laboratory" is a creative research environment for basic and applied multidisciplinary research. Development of miniaturized sample pre-treatment and separation on-line with atmospheric pressure and desorption ionization, mass spectrometric detection and chemometric data handling. The postgraduate fellow is encouraged to bring a research project from her/his laboratory to our advanced technological platform. Mass spectrometric equipment that are available comprises quadrupoles, time-of-flights an FTICR mass spectrometer (9.4 T. The separation equipment involves capillary LC, CE, CEC and microfabricated systems, as well as advanced extraction technology. Interested researchers are most welcome to apply for a fellowship to spend 6 - 12months at our unique training site. This stay will give you a multidisciplinary network with active researchers, training in modern separation-mass spectrometry, research results with at least one publication, and knowledge to bring to your home research environment

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
