European fleet for airborne research

Objective

Year 1: To catalogue publish facilities, capabilities and activities of individual infrastructures. Publication of the joint call for proposal for transnational access to the aircraft. Designation of expert laboratories. Build up an adequate communication infrastructure for network operation a electronic media.
Year 2: Evaluation of the proposals. Coordination of aircraft access and first transnational aircraft flight allocation. Specialised workshops in airborne instrumentation and systems.
Year 3-4: Preparation of a joint proposal for a large scale research aircraft, and evaluation of the network operation.
