Electron volt energy resonance detector instrument

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Neutron scattering techniques are widely used in research areas of condensed matter such as those performed in solid-state physics, chemistry, materials science, biology and polymers. Deep Inelastic Neutron Scattering (DINS) on VESUVIO spectrometer at ISIS spallation neutron source (UK) provides a probe of the local structure of the materials as well as information on the dynamics of the ions. The kinematical (q,w) pace accessed is w>1eV and 20 angstorms-10.3eV and q<10angstorms{-1}. The VLAD equipment has been developed within the European Union funded eVERDI project. The project team include CLRC (UK), University of Kent at Canterbury (UK), Universita' degli Studi di Milano Bicocca and Roma Tor Vergata (I) and INFM.
