New fields of research in earthquake engineering experimentation

Objective

Description:

Objectives: To pursue research in the following 6 areas of earthquake engineering:
1. Controlled testing in the non-linear range of material behaviour;
2. The complementarity of shaking tables and reaction walls;
3. Reliability of qualification tests performed on shaking tables;
4. Sub-structuring methods on shaking tables;
5. Multiple support input to large structures;
6. Continuous pseudodynamic testing with substructuring.

Results:The research programme starts on 1 December 2001

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
