Insect chemical ecology: integrated approach to defence strategies in herbivorous hymenoptera

Objective

INCHECO will propose 266 person-months of technical and scientific training to young researchers, mainly post-doctoral ones. One predectoral researcher is foreseen over the period of 48 months. Young researchers, coming from both biology and chemistry, will have a rare opportunity to work by an integrated approach on natural interactions that are considered globally from many scientific points of view. The training programme contains high responsibilities and objectives in specialized and well-equipped laboratories, and includes a series of short-term visits in all nodes of the network. The combination of different disciplines and methodologies will lead to a complete package of scientific and technical skills allowing young researchers to become highly competitive in many fields of research, from fundamental research up to industrial applications. By the networking activities. INCHECO will produce many publications in entomology, evolution, genetic, chemistry, immunology, physiology and ecology.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
