Modern homotopy theory

Objective

Students are attracted by areas that are flourishing and there is a demand for training in homotopy theory across Europe greater than it has been for decades. The topics mentioned are technically advances an few post-doctoral fellows will have a detailed knowledge of more than one area. The training programme has three components:
(a) to appoint post-doctoral fellows (and exceptionally advanced PhD students), typically for periods of not more than twelve months, to spend time working with teams in the centre,
(b) to run instructional workshops,
(c) to ensure that young mathematicians participate fully in small working research meetings.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

This project has not yet been classified with EuroSciVoc.
