Objective
This interdisciplinary effort requires the transfer of state-of-the-art technology between the participating laboratories. The goal is threefold
a) to establish a human reserve of expertise in this novel emerging field of interdisciplinary research by training several young scientists in the experimental procedures, scientific methods, and analytical tasks of the corresponding research area, i.e. physical chemistry, magnetism, crystalline structure, and magneto electronics;
b) to promote the exchange of knowledge between the 10 participating laboratories from 6 European countries;
c) to provide infrastructure for a non-bureaucratic and efficient usage of the specialized experimental facilities at the different locations.
