Ordered polymeric nanostructures : formation, characterisation, applications

Objective

Young researchers working on this project will obtain training in a challenging new area where multidisciplinary represents the key to success. Teamwork between physicists and chemists, interested in fundamental and applied aspects, and specialists in various state-of-the-art techniques will be performed. They will be integrated in large groups, working on various aspects related to the project, and spend part of their time in the laboratories of the partners. Physicist will learn about polymer synthesis and chemists will get acquainted to the basic physical concepts. They all will get skills in modern characterization techniques and get in touch with technological problems encountered in applications. Training in communication skills comes via discussions with people from different disciplines both, from academia and industry. Young researchers will present their work, preferentially orally, at national and international conferences and workshops.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
