Objective
The training objectives of the network are to provide young researchers with a polyvalent and exploitable knowledge at several levels (fundamental, technical, applied, and managerial) in a variety of fields (Fluid Physics, Nonlinear Dynamics, Physical Chemistry, Irreversible Thermodynamics, Chemical and Thermal Engineering). Moreover, the European nature of the network will be fully exploited to provide PhD and post-doc students with a motivation for international contacts, mobility and dissemination of results, together with better chances to find future employment. On a practical point of view, stays of students in industries are foreseen, and other special measures will be taken, such as a well-defined exchange program, organization of Summer Schools, participation of young researchers to managerial decisions. This is expected to set-up the basis for a possible future wider training program in the fields covered by the subject.
