New chemistry and catalysis with hydride compounds

Objective

The topic of this RTN is essential for the formation and continuous development of a new generation of young researchers, as well as for updating the senior participants. The interdisciplinarity of hydride research (including organic and inorganic syntheses, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, catalysis, crystallography, and theoretical expertises) requires exposure of the young researchers to a wide palette of different skills, all of which are represented in the proposed, Network. The young participants will be required to move around the different laboratories, visiting at least two laboratories for a total of 2 months (for a 1 -year appointment) within the Consortium, in addition to their principal place of work. Each researcher will be trained by using the host country language. The young scientists will also be required to present their work at regular Network meetings and at specialized international conferences.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.
