Objective
The participants in the project are all recognized International experts in different fields of oligosaccharide signaling and recognition and run active groups with experience of collaborative research. The aim of the project is to train young European post-doctoral researchers using an integrated research project in which multidisciplinary approaches and modern technologies will be used. The training programme will involve in-house training, secondments to different network laboratories, thematic workshops and exposure to European and international conferences. In addition to training in research and technical methodology, the project will promote training in communication and organizational skills through the active participation of the young researchers in all aspects of the project. Thus the integrated, multidisciplinary approach to a project of industrial relevance, led by experts, is aimed towards enhancing the career prospects of the trainees.
