Mathematical modelling of the cardiovascular system

Objective

The multidisciplinary knowledge required for effective research in this area is not available as part of any normal academic curriculum. The training program will largely be focused on individual development and tuition at the various institutes involved. This will be supported and reinforced by an exchange programme between the partners. Three one-week workshop/tutorial sessions are planned. These will be a combination of tutorials on relevant topics of interest by senior group members and lectures and presentations (by group members or others). The second and third workshops will provide an opportunity for research students to present their work.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.
