Syntactic and semantic integration of visual modelling techniques

Objective

The training content corresponds to the research objectives of the network. It is arranged around the topics of
(i) meta-level solutions for the definition and implementation of visual modeling techniques,
(ii) UML-based and net-based modeling techniques, and
(iii) domain-specific applications of visual techniques. The first category includes training in meta-level techniques for the definition of syntax and semantics, analysis and verification, modularity, refinement and evolution as well as integration and meta CASE tool support. The primary form of training is joint research of visiting researchers in cooperation with the staff at the hosting site. This is supplemented by network-wide training activities like a one-week school, invited lectures from researchers and industrial practitioners from inside and outside of the network, and tutorials given by experts at relevant conferences and workshops. The training of young researchers is rounded up by university courses. The primary training is joint research of visiting researchers in cooperation with the staff at the

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.
