The third generation as a probe for new physics : experimental and technological approach

Objective

Increasingly large collaborations and challenging topics push the researchers of the field into ultra-specialization. Because of its multidisciplinarity, its connection with high tech and its transversality in complementary experiments, this project provides a unique opportunity for the young researchers to broaden their skills by:
(1) covering all three aspects of fundamental research, phenomenological, experimental and technological;
(2) showing the complementarity between various experiments running at different machines but with common goals;
(3) providing a collaborative framework with the high-tech industrial world;
(4) preparing the young researchers to the next generation experiments ; and
(5) motivating the young female researcher to develop their skills also in high-tech activities. Besides, this research training will take place in a particularly exciting time, where important breakthroughs will be achieved and even perhaps a crucial discovery.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

This project has not yet been classified with EuroSciVoc.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.
