Atomic and molecular manipulation as a new tool for science and technology

Objective

Atomic-scale technology is becoming a priority of R&D programs in Europe as well as in the other main developed countries (USA, Japan). Clearly, a crucial problem for Europe in developing its academic and industrial efforts is the lack of young scientists trained in this field. The ambition of this network is to provide young scientists, both at the PhD student and post-doctoral level, with a world leading collaboration of research groups and adequate industrial contacts. A well-documented program of laboratory meetings, summer schools and network meetings will ensure a very attractive training for young scientists.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

This project has not yet been classified with EuroSciVoc.
