Objective
Young European researchers will collaborate with leading European research groups in this timely field. In order to encourage interaction and promote training in observational and theoretical astronomy a strong visiting program among the cooperating institutions will be organized. For graduate students and postdocs advanced schools will be offered on the subject of the network, observational and numerical techniques, search strategies and proposal preparation. The young researchers will have access to unique observational facilities and instruments. They will get rigorous training in laboratory physics and computational physics using special hardware computation and on data reduction with special focus on the data from the Space Infrared Telescope Facility. Their acquired technical skills and the management experience, gained by participating actively in the coordination of research projects are highly demanded in industry and modern economics.
