Nonequilibrium physics from complex fluids to biological systems

Objective

The inherently interdisciplinary nature of nonequilibrium physics, in particular in the specific setting of this project, provides exceptional training opportunities for young researchers. These will be integrated in a rich and fertile environment where a variety of cross-expertise has been assembled to optimize both research performance and training through research. Young researchers will obtain advanced training in a variety of forefront experimental techniques, conceptual tools and computational methods in the field, with a fruitful interplay between theory and experiment. Training will be fostered by intensive workshop activities (up to 5 full-network meetings) including some school-format meetings specific for training of physicists in biological desiderata, in particular molecular cell biology. Exchanges and visits will be systematically implemented to ensure broad and deep training through collaborative work.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
