European project on the sun

Objective

The project aims to mobilise the public in the construction of a spaceship to be used as a travelling exhibition with the general objective of making the European citizens aware of the beneficial impact of spatial research on their daily lives. The public will be assisted ECSITE, FOCUS Research, 5 science centres/museums and ESA who's communication potential will assure a large European repercussion. The modules composing the spaceship will be build by the museums in collaboration with youngsters and amateur associations. The modules will be assembled during a final event and become a real replica of how European collaboration really works.
