Bringing pupils to science and technology

Objective

European science centres do not sufficiently share their knowledge on how to get children and the general public interested in science & technology. Collaboration on European level between different new science centres is sure to lead to a promising synergy and positive effects on the development of the initial concepts. The changing living and working conditions made our world a different place to live. We find computers taking over from the discovery of nature, passive vs active participation in society and a non-creative approach of things, where science centres are there to promote nature, activity and creativity. This will also lead to a better preparation of our future workforce, them being asked to be as flexible and as well educated as possible. The discovery of natural science through experimenting rather than a "sit back and listen" mentality will renew interest and put our future in science and technology save. In a an network the strength of every single partner will be brought together in a synergy and complete the project with their points of view.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

This project has not yet been classified with EuroSciVoc.
