Innovation and employement in european firms: microeconometric evidence

Objective

This proposal is aimed at the exploration of the impact of innovation on employment at the firm level, using micro econometric techniques. The project will produce empirical evidence on the working of innovation at this level by improving and specialising traditional tools of analysis and by developing new perspectives. In the search for a global assessment of the employment consequences of innovation, the project has as specific objectives the impact of innovation on productivity, demand and market shares, and costs and prices.
