Objective
ECOHSE has as its aim a focus for research and the exchange of policy experience in the field of occupational health and safety and environmental issues, in the context of European enlargement. These objectives will be realized by:
1) Providing a forum for the conduct of innovative interdisciplinary research and exchange of information between occupational health and safety and environmental specialists from EU countries and the CEE accession states.
2) Developing the existing programme of ECOHSE annual symposia to be held in CEE accession countries.
3) Encouraging individual researchers, policy practitioners or representatives of trade unions and NGOs from accession states to visit the ECOHSE for periods of research and study
4) Disseminating the results of research and discussion via the ECOHSE website, scholarly publications and popular newsletters.
