Job creation in innovative relational services the case of services to private individuals

Objective

The main objective is to study job creation in innovative relational services (IRS) consumed by private individuals. IRS create a virtuous circle increase of the activity rate, equalization of the activity rate among men and women, decrease of exclusion, increase of well being. We'll characterize the different models of job creation in IRS in 5 European countries; analyze trade offs quality/quantity of jobs in the different models, and the respective role of public sector, profit and non-profit sector. We'll compare the present ideal types and carry out a statistical analysis of the sector. A field survey will analyze the functioning of 80 IRS enterprises. We'll define new ideal types, elements of comparability of the described situations; see how to optimize the models and how good practice can be transferable. We'll present our results in a form that can be used for policy purposes and social partners. We foresee a large dissemination program.
