Objectif LOCIN+ is a 24-month project which aims to update and develop the existing data base on local initiatives (LOCIN) to combat social exclusion for 7 countries (A, B, FIN, D, I, P, UK) through a freely accessible Internet platform. Information on the policy and institutional framework for these countries will be updated. The website will also include links to further information at EU and national level as well as short abstracts of relevant research at EU and national level. This work will be carried out through collaboration between researchers and branches of EAPN. Towards the end of the project a conference will be organised which will bring together researchers and actors (public and private, including EU Institutions). Extending the project to other EU countries and to candidate countries will be examined.
