Objective
The aim of this proposal for a thematic network is to gather two communities of policy research one in Foresight activities and the other one on in Foresight activities and the other one on Regional Development. The network aims to create a forum where participants can interchange experiences of "best-practice approaches" in the two fields, and bridge the existing gap between their respective communities. The final aim is to identify "good practices", which could be used to guide and inform specific Foresight activities at regional level in different parts of Europe. The project is intended to generate knowledge, and to lay foundations for concrete pilot projects, between policy researchers, policy makers and other players (regional).
