Data on all fields of marine research

One result of the BASYS project are oceanographic data from the Baltic Sea accessible via a metadatabase, which is maintained at the Baltic Sea Research Institute Warnemuende - the BASYS DATA INFORMATION SYSTEM (http://www.io-warnemuende.de/Projects/Basys/dataldata-new.htm). The process data have been collected during round about 80 ship cruises devoted to the study of special processes as there are: biogeochemical and physical regulation of the pelagic carbon cycle in special and the nutrient cycle in general. material transport from the nearshore to the basinal environment in the southern Baltic Sea fluxes between the Baltic Sea basins coastal and nearshore processes atmospheric input into the Baltic Sea formation of sea ice geochemical and sedimentological processes suitable for a reconstruction of the paleo-environment deep circulation and diapycnal exchange Also, selected atmospheric observations are available. These data are available through a searchable data bank < http:llsunip.io-warnemuende.de: 1 1080/DBSearch/>. From there, you can retrieve dataset description and from where to obtain the real data. Models on all field of marine research

In BASYS a set of numerical models was used, adapted, refined and newly developed. Model descriptions can be found in a meta-database, which is maintained at the Baltic Sea Research Institute Warnemuende the BASYS DATA INFORMATION SYSTEM (http:llsunip.io-warnemuende.de: 1 1080/DB-Searchl). This system provides comprehensive information as there are the description of the development of assimilation tools, of exercises on nesting and coupling of various model types as well as the description of in total 37 model runs, which have been carried out in BASYS.
