Hungarian eu r&d oriented actions for raising awareness to generate fp5 participation in the field of energy, environment and sustainable development

Objective

With Hungary's accession to the EU and its joining to FP5, the measures advancing the ability of the country's organisations to facilitate and support the participation of potential proposers have become an imperative necessity. Meanwhile, the planned measures are in harmony with the Community's interest to give aid reaching a common goal of balanced participation from member and newly joining states. The training actions would offer possibility for the staff of the S&T Foundation as the Hungarian FP5 liaison office for "Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development" to reach a high level of advisory service. Gaining additional expertise, the staff intends to contribute to the effective training and mobilisation of the Hungarian R&D community to co-operate with European partners.
