Hermes: a center of excellence on computational finance and economics

Objective

The Centre for Banking and Financial Research of the University of Cyprus brings multidisciplinary perspective to the study of optimal financial decision making, with a combination of theoretical modelling, applied data-driven research and the use of high-performance computations. It aims at making international scholarly contributions, while assisting the local financial services industry with transfer of know-how and the study of problems arising from financial liberalization.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
