Objective
The proposal submitted for EC funding aims at covering travel costs and subsistence allowance for participants from Eastern Europe who will present papers and/or posters at the EIFAC Symposium on Inland Fisheries Management and the Aquatic Environment . The Symposium is organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Eastern Europe to exchange knowledge among countries and to present, in reviews, an appraisal of fisheries management activities and their impact on the environment, constraints on their application, issues and options regarding their utilization, and the benefits and problems associated with these activities.
