The 4th conference on ageingand work-"promotion of work ability and employability"

Objective

The international conference "Promotion of Work Ability and Employability" is organised under the auspices of the International Commission on occupational Health. Interdisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners will present and discuss the scientific data, ideas, and practical solutions concerning all issues relevant to older workers, including work stress, worker's strain, consequences for health and well being, as well as work-organisational, legal, ergonomic, and socio-psychological measures for prevention of pre-term loss of work ability and employability. It is the fundamental problem for the societies of the developed countries, due to rise in life expectancy, decrease in number of births, and ageing of the work force. Working populations of Eastern European countries are relatively younger, but not free from problems, e.g. discrimination of aged workers or pre-term loss of work ability.
