Objective
On the 4th Meeting Board in Bonn, 1996, the Czech Society for Plant Pathology (CSPP) received preference before France society for Plant Pathology to organize the 6th Conference EFPP 2002 devoted to Resistance in Plant Pathology. Four main sessions are foreseen in order to bring up the state of the art in the study of host-pathogen interactions and plant resistance to pathogens as well as new control strategies preserving the environment and improving the safety. The Conference also aims the implementation of disease resistance in support Common Agricultural Policy in the context of sustainable agriculture. The large expected participants audience (ca 300 people from 20 EU+CC and 100 from NIS+ BC+ inv. speakers, chairs) gives the opportunity to organize panel sessions on European natural resources of resistance, on conf. achievements for breeding practice. A book of abstracts of the Conference will allow the information of scientists.
