Workplace monitoring and occupational health studies at some selected phosphate fertilizer plants using nuclear and related analytical techniques

Objective

The phosphate fertilizer production has a pathological impact on its occupational staff causing floozies, respiratory and other diseases. Nuclear and related analytical techniques will be used to establish correlation between the concentrations of elemental pollutants in raw materials, by-products, humans, and the workplace. This in turn will allow us to determine how man's bio substrates cane used to follow the rate of pathological changes in the organism as it is being exposed to intense ethnogeny environments. The monitoring strategy developed in Russia for this kind of industry is offered for dissemination at similar fertilizer plants in Uzbekistan, Poland, and Romania.
