CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

The main results are a risk-based analysis of mercury pollution in the city of Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. This analysis in conjunction with a detailed study of the extent and future extent of the pollution has lead to the development of a cost effective method of managing the risk to both humans and the environment. Dissemination was an integral part of the project and as a result the recommendations for managing the risk are already being implemented by the Government of Kazakhstan and the civil engineering work programme is already well advanced. The results and methodology have been presented to and accepted by The Ministry of Ecology and the Academy of Sciences in Kazakhstan and have been presented to the regional government in Omsk, Russia.
