Objective
The proposal is devoted to preparation and characterisation of new forms of carbon, namely sp -hybridised linear chain-like (LCL) carbon and sp0-hybridized carbon with the face central cubic crystal lattice. An industrial ecologically safe technology for production of LCL carbon in form of coatings on different substrates will be developed. A technique for fabrication of fact carbon will be elaborated. The fine electron and crystal structure of the carbon materials will be examined by use of various techniques. Physical, rnechanical, protective, etc. properties and the performance of the material developed will be studied. Potential industrial applications of the coatings consisting of the carbon materials mainly in the metal sector and the chemical sector will be evaluated.
