Mediterranean and trans-european networks for transport

Objective

The project propose a concentration process between all stockholders in order to promote a common understanding of transport infrastructure problems and issues adapted to European -Mediterranean context (interconnectivity and interoperability) and to better integrate EU and Mediterranean transport networks. Starting from the assessment of performance of the present transport networks and previous studies a common reference framework of analysis is built including an identification methodology of major corridors. Infrastructure projects will be analysed in relation to the operating rules and accompanying measures. Tools and criteria will be consolidated through mutual exchanges and capitalisation of data as well as development of case studies.
