Objective
Good management of resources, alleviating poverty and improving the socio-economic conditions of living are key objectives for research and development efforts in Developing Countries and the EU partnership with Developing Countries. In order to promote the sustainable use of baroness in Latin America it is the general objective of this project to establish a network of Knowledge Centres (Universities and R&D Institutes) and SMEs from Latin America and the European Union. For this purpose a number of partners with excellent expertise in the field of biomass are selected and an effective co-operation between the partners is assured. The main focus of the project will thereby be the development of policy options for the promotion of decentralised biomass energy production.
