Objective
The objective of this measure is to increase the involvement of scientists in Developing Countries in the Community Programmes in order to contribute to the optimal use of research possibilities and research results both in the North and in the South, especially focused on international partnerships. More specifically, it will contribute to the optimal use of Internet tools adapted to the special settings of Developing countries where we will have to deal with slow and unreliable connections for the years to come. The off line tools developed under this measure will enable developing country Focal Points to participate more intensively in the SHARED system (www.shared.de) and similar systems based on the driving IKON technology through: The development of off-line tools for data management, the development of training materials and specific manuals and the training of Focal Point Managers.
