Objective

The measure will identify strategies for narrowing the gap between EU Research and Development DG at country and at the EU decision-making levels in order to enhance the use of research for health sector reform policy development and, implementation. Applying the toolkit of the Concerted Action Project "Strategies to enhance the use of Health System Research for Sector Reform"/research use in policy decision making and strategies applied for increasing its use in these Projects will be studied. Based on the study results, an international workshop with participation of national and international health policy makers and stakeholders, researchers and Project managers, will condensate strategies for further enhancement of research use at national and EU level, and follow up measures will be agreed upon. Broad dissemination of results and the developed action plans is foreseen.
