Objective
Conference of the Mediterranean countries on cooperation in agricultural research, initiated by NAGREF , and INRA and scheduled to be held in Cairo on March 2002. The conference aims to the identification of cooperative research programmes addressing the quality of agricultural products , in view of their better exploitation and promotion for an integrated Med. development. In parallel, it analyses and discusses existing and innovative cooperative research tools suitable for the realisation of such purpose in the context of the Med. region. Additionally, the conference addresses , in dedicated workshops , topics related to the main subjects , such as research on product quality , norms and regulations , traditions , processing, markets , integrated production and engineering of research utilities.
