Objective
This AM intends at extending to DC countries and organisations the participation to the Interdev-NRM information network. InterDev is a mutuality service which has been originally developed with support of the IST thematic programme of the 5th Framework programme. It records and makes available concrete information on innovations at the grassroots level on sustainable development and Natural Resources Management (NRM). InterDev is made of data provided directly by the end-users of the database themselves. It provides fact sheets on effective sustainable uses of natural resources, which can be a valuable basis for NRM research and policy making. The AM will make the database available to local African organisations for testing tools and methods to their own needs. It will facilitate a decentralised participation of these organisations.
