Research evidence for primary health care reforms (phcr) to medical emergency services

Objective

Cuba is working in an INCO Project to evaluate PHCR for Medical Emergency Services. In May 2002, different National and International organizations are promoting in Cuba the First Convention In Public Health, where we have opened apace to dialogue and collaborate in a conference, based in scientific evidence on Health System Research (HSR), to address the challenges of the EC and other regions, for attending medical emergencies and for setting priorities in Health Reform. Through the mobilization of experts from the EC and other countries and younger scientists in the fields of Public Health, Sociology, Economics and others to share the state-of-art of HSR, calling for papers to be presented, conducting the meeting for strengthen networking and choosing new priorities for PHCR, holding an intensive course on HSR methods and techniques and disseminating the information and research results in a CDROM, we hope to reach the objectives.
