Objective
It is expected that the workshop will serve to disseminate results of the INCO-DC project to scientists as well as decision-makers, to promote scientific co-operation, to enhance the position of Community research in the international scientific area, and to contribute to a rational basis for measures against desertification. Thus, it is in accordance with the Fifth Framework programme objectives and with programme objectives that were pursued in the INCO-DC project.
