Objective
This proposal outlines a study specific to the area of Science and Technology Innovation with regard to the People's Republic of China. The general objective is to fulfil the Call for industrialized country studies of the evolution of Science and Technology capacities in areas of particular interest to the Community. The general objective will be met through a detailed study on the Policies, structures and training programmes which have evolved to encourage innovation in the Science and Technology sector of the People's Republic of China. The results will be disseminated in the form of a seminar, which will promote international collaborations on innovation activities between the Community and the People's Republic of China.
