INFORMATION ENGINEERING USABILITY SUPPORT CENTRES

Objective

INUSE seeks to set up a network of European Usability Support Centres for companies and projects within the information engineering (IE) industry. A basic information pack will be produced, consisting of guides to user-centred design, usability validation and multimedia design. The guidance will be designed to assist in the choice of cost-effective methods for use in development environments which may not have previous human factors expertise. A second objective is to provide a portfolio of state-of-the-art usability services to the European IE industry, to support the development of systems which meet user needs and have quality in use. The end result will be quantitative measurement methods and cost-effective technologies for usability engineering that have been developed, tried and tested in the European market, enabling information systems to match user needs.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
