Objective
PROCAT-GEN is part of the Global Engineering Network (GEN) initiative for the global electronic marketing of engineering products and services, concentrating on core competencies, market flexibility and the ability to exploit the best component technology. The project will focus on the specific needs of multimedia product catalogues and improving component supplier/user communication through their effective delivery on the information highway. Their typical requirements and uses will be documented so that, as a result of the main project phase, a complementary key component will enable GEN to deliver catalogues based on well-researched market needs.
