Objective

The purpose of MEDFORM is to provide advanced facilities to publishers for the swift production of multimedia books and compact disc titles for fields like education. It is further intended to satisfy the consumer need for user-friendly information retrieval from such publications. The project will facilitate management and integration of multimedia material, such as text, images, sound and video, also providing support for production-related content specification, application structuring and execution strategies. Analysis of the publisher organization model is expected to cut the cost of title production, distribution and similar activities.
