Selection criteria for information technology systems

Objective

The purpose of this Accompanying Measure was to refine and further diffuse the results of a SPRINT Specific Project. The project validated a "checklist methodology" for selecting the most appropriate computerised solution is SMEs. Different computer applications in SMEs in 3 Member States were implemented. The exercise validated the process however, results indicated the time frame was too long and in need of decision support tools that could greatly enhance the accuracy whilst reducing the cycle time.
