Cooperation with physicists in the NIS

Objective

Based on the theory of charged dust and space plasmas the research will deal with several parts such as: the enhancement of MURN small angle diffractometer at FLNP pulsed reactor neutron source and the upgrade of PRISMA spectrometer at pulsed neutron source ISIS. Furthermore crystal structures and phase transitions in novel materials are investigated by laser and non-linear optical applications there are also made measurements on crystal growth and X-ray/neutron spectroscopy.

The research is also focused on magnetic structures and magnetic excitations in quasi one-dimensional magnetic systems therefor also muon spectroscopy of magnetic materials and advanced Raman Lasers are used.

The group will use neutron scattering investigations and moment instability in intermetallic compounds containing manganese as well as white beam neutron polarizing filter.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
