Scientific network on investigation of structure-properties relationships in polymer and polymeric composites

Objective

A true understanding of the structure-properties relationship in polymers and polymeric composite materials is important from the fundamental and also from the practical point of view, e.g. for the preparation of new functional materials. The aim of this project is to create a European network in the field of polymer and polymeric composite materials.

The participating institutes are all active in the field of polymers and composites, particularly in the investigation of structure-properties relationships in these materials, and the research activities of the network will be organized around the different scientific facilities available in these institutes. There already exist contacts with many other institutes, both in the NIS and in western Europe. It is expected that several joint research projects on more specific topics will emerge from this network.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
